My name is Aloha Palmer. I teach K-7, Career Education 8 and 9, and Planning 10 here at Homelinks. I will also be offering an elementary level writers workshop to be given each week on Tuesday mornings. I have been blessed with many children in ages ranging from 5-28. I live on a small hobby farm which consists of a few cows, horses, chickens and 2 dogs. My life is full and busy and I can truthfully say I have never been bored.

In my spare time, when I am feeling energetic, I garden and do yard work. However, I prefer to sit on my swing with a good book and a glass of iced kombucha. I also love to camp, play tennis, sit on the beach and sew. My real passions are my children and my students. I hope to someday see them become considerate, compassionate, caring, energetic, responsible members of society – people who make a difference.

One of my favorite teacher quotes is: “Grant me Serenity to appreciate the unique gifts of my students, Courage to challenge them to do their best, and Wisdom to help them reach their full potential.
