Advocating for Accessibility in Creston

Homelinks Creston student, Alexis Folk, is an accessibility advocate, including for the building where she attends school.

Alexis has successfully worked with the City of Creston who owns the building to advocate for building access. The City has now installed a wider front door and a device to automatically open the door using a key fob. That means she and anyone else connected with Homelinks who needs to use the automatic door can have full, independent access to the building that houses the Homelinks program.
