Grade 10 Cohort Program

Grade 10 Cohort Program

This program is a blend of face-to-face and at-home learning.  Students who enrol in this program commit to participating in face-to-face learning at school 2 days per week and at-home learning 3 days per week.  This teacher lead programming focuses on place-based and project-based learning.  Students are supervised by a BC certified teacher and will have the opportunity to work collaboratively with their peers.  The Grade 10 Cohort program runs from September 13th 2022 to May 31st 2023 on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

In addition to some independent study units, students will take part in several project-based learning opportunities such as: web design, public speaking, engineering, real world issues, entrepreneurship, and community involvement.  Project-based learning has been proven to deepen student knowledge and engagement.  One of the many benefits of project-based learning is that it is cross-curricular, meaning that one project will cover multiple subjects.

By registering for this program, you commit to:

  • Attend whole school year September 13th 2022 to May 31st 2023
